It was a fairly old project of mine, which I started developing back in Germany. Completely freehand.
My client wanted a dragon that wouldn’t take up the whole sleeve and wouldn’t stand out from the short shirt.
Then, I suggested that he get a tattoo that went all the way down his chest and back.
The dragon’s head I depicted in a medieval European manner.
The dragon’s body is decorated with standard northern geometric designs and petroglyphs .
In my work I used a tattoo machine from the company Stigma Rotary
The colors are my favorite Haritomo Sumi set from the Solid Ink company.
